Reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 suggest that full-back, Ashley Cole might join French big spenders Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
Since declining the new contract that Chelsea offered him, there are rumours that defender, Ashley Cole, might move to a new club next season. That being said, it seems like that one wouldn’t have to wait for the next season to see the former Arsenal player
move to another club, as this might just happen in the upcoming January transfer window.
The English international was a product of Arsenal’s youth academy, and a part of ‘The Invincibles’ before moving to city rivals, Chelsea. The full back won the Premier League with both Arsenal & Chelsea, and also has a Champions League title with Chelsea
under his name. He’s also the only player to win the FA Cup for a record 7 times with two different clubs.
Cole’s contract is set to expire by the end of the season, and considering his immense talent, ability and experience, Chelsea offered him a one year extension, that Cole swiftly denied signing, which he believes was not upto his expectations. And since
then, the club hasn’t bothered offering him a new contract.
While the London based player’s future remained undecided, Paris Saint-Germain were on the look out for a world class full back, and finding out that Cole’s contract is set to expire, they were quick to turn their focus to the Englishman, who might be considering
his options to move onto a new venture.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Paris Saint-Germain is rumoured to offer http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809 a weekly wage of £250,000 for his services if he intends to move to Ligue 1. And that’s a wage that even the Chelsea full back cannot refuse. Moreover, the chance to play along side world
class players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752.
The rumours gained further attention when former French international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-c31222 Pires and Cole’s mother gave out possible signs that the English international might be looking to move away from Stamford Bridge, with Parc des Princes, the more likely of options.
Following PSG’s defeat to Stade Rennais, Carlo Ancelotti is seeking to further reinforce his squad with world class players. With cash reserves coming in swiftly, Ancelotti might just be able to create the French version of Manchester City.
