Paris Saint-Germain star Nene vows to give his best following coach bust-up – Ligue 1 news
Brazilian midfielder Nene, currently on the books of French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain has vowed to give his best following his falling out with PSG coach Antoine Kombouare.
The 30-year-old playmaker injured his ankle during PSG’s 1-1 draw against Stade Rennais last week and was not selected by Antoine Kombouare for the PSG side that travelled to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luxembourg-c2945 to play Differdange in the first-leg of the UEFA Europa League playoffs.
PSG won the game 4-0 but missing out on the squad for the European tie left a sore taste in Nene’s tongue. Nene did not like being left out of the squad and exchanged harsh words with the French tactician following the team’s return to Paris.
The number 10 of PSG now admits that he crossed the line by confronting the coach and apologised for his actions. “I crossed the line. I should not respond to my boss like this. I am sorry and I apologised. I should have known better to control myself,” the Brazilian said while talking to the media.
Following his ‘mea culpa’ moment, Nene has indicated his desire to serve the team and said that he is happy to see so many new arrivals at the club. “I am delighted at the arrival of new players at PSG. No one is irreplaceable,” the talented playmaker said.
Nene also hit out at the French media for blowing things out of proportion following his small bust-up with the coach. Nene said that though Kombouare is under a lot of pressure, his relationship with players has not been affected and neither has he lost the dressing room.

Since joining PSG from AS Monaco in the summer of 2010, Nene has scored 14 goals in 35 Ligue 1 appearances for the Parisian club.
