Since his arrival at the Parc des Princes last summer, France international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345 has been one of the most powerful weapons in the Qatari version of Paris Saint-Germain. With three goals and six assists in Ligue 1, Menez has certainly done pretty
well. However, not many people are happy with the Frenchman’s performances so far.
While talking to the media, Menez spoke about his and the club’s ambitions for this campaign. The midfielder feeds that it would be a big defeat and a failure if PSG fail to win the Championelle. With many people still not sure whether PSG is a big club
or not, Menez thinks that though PSG is not yet an elite club, the players can write a new story for the club.
Despite being fairly productive in his debut season with the Parisian giants, Menez has received a fair amount of criticism from all corners. However, the youngster is not at all worried about this. Many people suggest that Menez tends to be a bit too individualist.
“Before (arriving at PSG), I was just a guy who dribbled. Today, I am more complete. I lose fewer balls, I defend more. After all, this (criticism) makes me laugh.”
With the European Championships on the horizon, Menez has an extra motivation to do well for PSG. The winger wants to play for France in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 and is keen on improving more in the second half of the campaign.
“I have been too slow to adapt, but I know that I can bring a lot to this team. I needed the confidence of the coach. I need to be comfortable on the field. Today, I feel much better.”
