Paris Shopping?

I have been to Paris twice before.

Can anyone recommend unique shopping areas and boutiques in Paris for new and trendy French designers that are not too pricey that I must see? I am looking for things you cannot get in New York City, which are few.

You can have a look at the shops around the Forum Des Halles and the Centre Georges Pompidou (1st and 4th arrondissements). They usually have pretty trendy shops there.

Try Satellite, a costume jewelry store. There is one in NYC, but it does not have the same selection as the Paris stores:
