  1. I would think a 2 year old wouldn't yet appreciate disney-land.

If you enjoy it, go, but don't expect a 2 year old to get into it.

find him a puddle to play in instead

  2. not a lot - she is too young to appreciate most of what is there

  3. Mr.Misses;;;

HI , I am from Europe.

YOU have to be aware that a 2 year old will remember nothing about that trip.Paris is indeed a wonderful city, but not for children.

Even Eurodisney is not recommanded, from the age of 6 its quiet interesting!!

Just my opinion as a father of 4 sons!

    Have a nice day

  4. There are 2 zoos: Jardin des Plantes and the Bois de Vincennes.

La Croisiere Enchantee is a 1 hour boat trip along the Seine with a children's music show

The Luxembourg garden has good play facilities for children, as does Tuileries Garden

Because schools are closed on Wednesdays, there are often puppet shows on then (as well as weekends) at: Jardin d'Acclimatation, Jardin du Luxembourg, Champ de Mars, Jardin des Champs Elysées, Guignol de Paris, Marionnettes de Montsouris (on Tuesday & weekends), Parc Georges Brassens

Parc de la Villette at Cité des Sciences has theme gardens for children and workshops

Parc Floral de Paris at Bois de Vincennes Esplanade du Château

has an activity park including more than 60 games for children.

The Musee d'Orsay is a very child friendly musuem in the sense that when I was there, you could get a pushchair for free

I'd double check all this, but I hope there is something of use here.

  5. There are several parks and small playgrounds, all over Paris, that will satisly the needs of your 2 yr old, the Luxembourg garden has two free play areas with sad pits and fencing and a paying one that is quite fun, there are poney rides there too, they are to the left when facing the senate from the gardens.

The Champs de Mars which is teh gardens behind the Eiffel Tower also have 2 playgrounds one for older and one for younegr children, and they also have the poney ride and a tricycle rental as well as an antique merry go round

Disneyland Paris is way too much for a 2yr old is can be overwhelming and scarry (the snow white ride has scared many a 3yr old) but can be relaxing for you (peter pan, pirates of teh carribean)

Keep in mind that restaurants are not family friendly so do not hope to see high chairs (only Mc Donalds has them)

There is a nice Cafe: Cafe Rostand near teh Luxembourg gardens on the north corner of teh park and teh Boulevard st Michel that has a changing mat downstairs (the only one I ever found in Paris...). It has a huge terrace whcih if it is cold has clear plastic walls so you can sit tehre with a push chair.

  6. Be sure to visit the "Basilique du Sacré-Cœur" The sparrows there feed out of your hand. Your two year old will love it!
