I'm going to Vienna, Prague and a third city in September. I'm trying to decided between Paris or Budapest for 3 to 4 days.

I have only been to Europe once in my life time and I went to Rome and Paris which I loved. So should I go to Budapest and try something new, or should I just go back to Paris and play it safe. I will probably not be able to go back to Europe in a long time. Please help

  1. Im sorry to say this but Budapest is nothing compared to paris. been to both places and its not worth choosing budapest over paris.

  2. Hi, I have been paris too and it is quite lovely.but i also have been budapest. I went to a place called gyor because my dad has freinds there. We went budapest(drove there) and it was quite nice. we got the plane from veinna; as it is quite close to hungary. If you are hiring a  car i suggest you go budapest for a day to look a round and the rest of your days in vienna in a hotel or something. This means you can also go paris later on. If your not hiring a car i suggest go to budapest there is many sites to see;  but you have already beeen paris so there is not much a point going. Go later on when you go europe another time and there might be new thing sthere. PLEase make me top answer hope i helped ;)

  3. I love Paris, I would go back but if you have already been there then why not try something new. I would do Budapest.

  4. Paris! Believe me Budapest isn't really worth your time. The Buda part is really very beautiful, but Pest is just a big junkyard! That's my opinion since I've been to Budapest twice. Though you might like it, no guarantees.

P.S.No offense if anyone loves Budapest, I just said my opinion

    Peace ^.^

  5. I really enjoyed Budapest, but it there is no comparison between it and Paris. If you've only been to Paris once, you are definitely not playing it safe. It's a huge and wonderful city; you can see so little in 4 days! I've been 6 times and there's still things I've not done that I desperately want to when I go back in Autumn.

I think Paris is definitely the best option; it will be a great end to a great trip, and although Budapest is well worth a visit, it doesn't live up to what Paris has to offer.

    Hope you enjoy your trip!
