  1. that sounds really nice. what ar the pictures of? since it's paris theme you could hace a nice mural of the Ifle(sp?) tower painted on one wall. sorry for any typos, my puppy's in my lap and making it hard to tpy. lol

  2. I agree with your Mom.  Gray is the new neutral!...Very hot right now. The black will be too dark especially if your room is on the smaller side. And will feel very hot in summer months. You can add black accents to the room which always anchor it.

Gray can be warm or cool.  I think that if you are mixing with a pink blanket I would go for a lighter gray.  Here is a link that may help you understand.

    Good luck!

  3. Go with the gray.  To much of one color gets boring.  Maybe pick a color to highlight some areas in the room like red or blue

  4. You're lucky your Mom is OK with the dark colored walls!  I think I might agree with her about dark grey instead of black.  If you have a lot of white trim it may be interesting!  Use light filmy curtains.  I just love this bed and you might too:  http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.as... It would look great with filmy fabric draped around the top!

I REALLY like the idea of framed black & white photos.  Here's some great ones: http://www.target.com/b/ref=in_br_browse...

  6. dont do black walls. that is too dark. it will look depresing no matter what blancket you have. try pink or gray or something like that. but if your set on having black walls do just one wall.

but that sounds really cute :]
