  1. RER C which you can catch at numerous Metro Stations.  It is about one hour and worth the trip.  Versailles has just finished renovating the palace and I hear it is very beautiful.

  2. The métro doesn't go there.

    Two solutions :

    1. Take métro n°9 to "Pont de Sèvre". At "Pont de Sèvre", there's a bus station, some buses go to Versailles.

    2. Take RER C (direction : "Versailles Château"). RER C is a kind of commuter train that you can take in many different places in Paris.

  3. RER C is the best solution.

    Have a look there http://www.ratp.fr/

It's the website of Parisien train and metro
