Question:

Parisian Hotels?

I'm looking for a hotel in Paris for me and my 13 year old daughter for 2-3 nights in February.

The class doesn't matter much, as long as it isn't horrendously expensive (less than £250).

Anyone know of a nice hotel/B+B that meets my requirements?

  1. I'm a budget traveler and have found the Ibis chain to be affordable, clean, and convenient.  The rooms are small by American standards, but I've always been satisfied.

  2. i lived there so i know a lot just not hotels

  3. Look it up here : http://babparis.zweipage.de/

Can help you translating or making your reservation in Frnch!

  4. Look here, www.parishotels.com

  5. We used the site I've listed below (Gare du Nord Hotel Desk) when we visited last.  Lists the hotels close to Gare du Nord (for Eurostar) as well as the central Paris hotels too.  Good value and special offers listed too..

    Have fun!

  6. I stayed at the Hotel Splendid in the 7 arr.

Very easy to get to the metro.

NICE view of the Eiffel Tower. Nice lobby and rooms.  It was relatively inexpensive (less than $120/day- that's less than 65 pounds for you!)

It wasn't a B&B but I did order room service for morning bread and cheese.

Ask for a room with a view!!!

  7. My favorite little Left Bank Hotel is the Hotel St. Andre des Arts and is downright cheap. I've stayed there dozens of times over the last 35 years and adore the place.

A double with ensuite facilities costs 87 euros  which includes taxes and a little French style breakfast of coffee or hot chocolate, bread, butter and jam.

This is a very simple place without TV or minibars. There is no elevator and the 17th centuiry building has uneven floors and very simple furnishings.

However it is clean, the staff friendly, and the location is right in the center of Paris with Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Cluny Museum, and dozens of other tourist sights within a 10 minute stroll. The Odeon Metro stop is on the next street.
