http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Chu-Young-c29137 could be on his way out of the Emirates, despite spending only one season with the Gunners.
The Gunners signed Park at the start of the season from Monaco, for a fee of around two million pounds.
Since his move to the club, the South Korean has managed to play only six minutes of football in the Premier League and this has been regarded to be unacceptable by the player and his agent.
The South Korean captain had revealed that he would not leave Arsenal and that he would fight to find a spot in the team’s starting eleven.
However, it now seems like the player feels like leaving may be the best option for him and his agent seems to agree with this face.
The player’s representative, when talking about his future prospects is quoted to have said: "If the current state continues, we will have to look at the transfer market in the summer”
Park was being linked with a loan move to Fulham in January, but the move failed to materialize and his agent has now gone on to reveal that the Gunners had rejected any and all approaches made by teams to take the striker away on a loan deal.
His agent then went on to add: "In the English media, it was reported that Arsenal had rejected a loan offer for Park.”
"However, this was in contrast to what we heard from Arsenal. There was no loan offer during the transfer window."
The striker’s position at the club if anything is rather dubious to say the least. The forward hardly ever represents the team, but Arsene Wenger refuses to let the player leave.
At the same time, it seems like the manager doesn’t have a lot of faith in the forwards ability, since he went on to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918 on loan, to try and add quality to the team’s strike force.
It is still not certain what the future holds for Park at the club, but what can be said assuredly, is that the player would push for a move out of the club, if he fails to feature in the team’s starting eleven on a regular basis.
