The Korean midfielder led the side against a Sabah Select XI but coach Mark Hughes claims that he is still yet to decide that if the role will turn into a more permanent one.
Ji-Sung Park arrived in London a few weeks, fresh from his lengthy stint at Old Trafford, where he experienced the highest of highs.
However with game time running out of the helm, he chose Loftus Road as his new abode and has since been relishing the transfer.

him the armband last night in a friendly, speaks volumes about his talismanic abilities.
While there are other contenders worthy of being captains, Park’s name surely outshines them all, as he is not only talented but has a calm demeanor, both on and off the pitch.
Hughes, though, still remains coy about the future and revealed that he was still yet to decide his team leader.
"I thought I would give Ji the captaincy as he is very well known in these parts so I thought it would be a nice gesture for him to be captain for the game. I haven't made a decision on the captaincy yet but I thought it was important that he was the captain
tonight."
"It was the first time he played with his new team-mates and I thought he did fine. Everyone knows the quality that he has. I will benefit from that and the team will benefit. We are very happy that he is with us. He is a world class player and he will make
us better,” he said.
QPR were relegation battlers last term, but with a host new players arriving at the helm in the last few weeks, there is reason for optimism and many feel that the team can now go on and perhaps secure a mid-table place.
However the captaincy still needs to be sorted and will be one of the main priorities for the manager during the pre-season tour.
