United went on to seal the transfer of the midfielder from Borussia Dortmund earlier in the transfer window. The teak was faced with a lot of competition from a number of teams, but once United came knocking on the door for Kagawa’s signature, the midfielder opted to move in and sign for the team.
Despite there being concerns about his ability and questions about if he can perform for United or not, Park Ji Sung feels that the midfielder is cut out to be a starter for United and feels that he is going to do good at the club.
The United player is quoted to have said: "I know United have agreed a deal for Kagawa and I'm happy because we're signing a good player"
"Manchester United is a huge club and every season we sign new, world-class names.
"I hope Kagawa shows how good he is next season and I think he will do."
Park is well aware of the fact that he might have to compete with Kagawa for a spot in the team’s starting eleven. However, he feels that competing with your team is a regular part of being a United player and he feels that he is going to give it his all and it is down to the manager to decide what he wants to do.
"There is a lot of competition in the squad but it doesn't matter who I'm competing with," he added.
"We're a team and I just want to concentrate on producing better performances.
"We're starting our pre-season tour next month and those matches will help me to prepare for the new season.
"As always, when I begin a new season I am determined to improve."
It is now going to be down to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson to deicide just how and where he is going to use his players and who is going to make the starting eleven. Nonetheless, the players can always put on a brilliant display when they get their opportunity on the pitch and hope for it to ensure that they get selected in the team’s starting eleven.
