I work on a main road in a city in Ontario and usually park on the street and feed the meter. Well today I parked apparently in a "Handicap" spot. However, there is no handicap painted sign on the road. There IS a sign saying do not park, but you cannot see the sign from where I was parked. It is facing towards the opposite way. I am 18 and have never fought a ticket before and I just wanted to know what my chances seemed like and any pointers anyone could give me. as soon as i left another car pulled up and parked in the exact same spot.

Please help me i really need i

  1. Dang, that's annoying.

Here's what you do, if you want to fight this ticket.

You need to take a picture of the "no parking" sign as it relates to the space.  So, take a pic of the sign and the space, and then take a pic of the driver's view of the sign from the parking space.  Your job is to prove to the judge that the fault lies with the city, not with you.

The worst possible thing that can happen is that you will have to pay the ticket.  It won't be terrible - just annoying.

    Good luck!

    All the best.
