Parkers Man and Blackrose Puma joint favourites for West Row 545
Parkers Man and Blackrose Puma are set to lock horns in the West Row 545 at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. The triumphant greyhound will be given a cash prize of £150 in the end.
A total of six quality hounds will be seen in action over the 545 metres Grade OR event, which is scheduled to start at 21:15 GMT. Their names are as follows: Parkers Man, Blackrose Puma, Smooth Nation, Ard Vark, Smooth Ace and Surelines Answer.
Out of the above mentioned runners, the bookies believe that Parkers Man and Blackrose Puma will fight for victory in the race. However, the punters might risk more bets in favour of the former runner, as he appears to be in better shape right now.
Parkers Man has been performing quite consistently in this class and he also has a lot of experience to his name. He has dropped out of the top three just once in his last five events, which shows that he regularly fights for victories.
The J. Craske’s trainee finished runner up in his most recent outing, which shows that he is carrying good momentum. He was not given the best odds back then, but was expected to fight for the top three positions. He certainly lived up to the expectations
of everyone, thus has been awarded with decent odds today.
However, the blue dog was unable to match the stamina of the race winner last time around, which was not a positive sign. He will need an improved run in order to prevail at Mildenhall today.
Parkers Man is the son of Shelbourne Aston out of Lyrical Girl and was born in October 2009.
On the other hand, Blackrose Puma is also expected to fight at the front in the race, as she is a quality performer. She has managed to win just once in her previous five outings, which shows that she is not in great form right now.
In her most recent outing, the E. Cantillon’s trained b***h failed to make a solid impression and had to settle for sixth place. She will need to be at her absolute best in order to outperform her opponents at Mildenhall.
Blackrose Puma is the daughter of Cashen Legend out of Churchview Model and was born in June 2010.
