Parking Brake wire?

Question

I just bought a JVC CD/DVD palyer and am wondering if I even have to hook up the parking brake wire. If there is a way around it how and if i absolutly need where do i hook it up at?

The wire probably has to see some type of input to allow the monitor to turn on....

You have to find out if it needs a negative or a positive....(probably positive)

then connect the wire to another that gives it what it needs...

I do remember Alpine had a brake switch wire that had to get power-lose it - then get it again ...in order for the screen to come on

P>S... Be careful driving with a front monitor on while driving

I believe that disables the DVD Player so that you need to have the brake on to watch it. If you can keep the car on the road without killing someone, then don't hook it up.
