Let's say I'm driving down a road with angled parking spots to my right. Another car is coming on the opposite side of the road. Is it legal for them to cross the dividing line to park in a parking spot on my side of the road?

  1. No it is illegal it is not enforced enough

  2. As I understand it, you are describing someone travelling in one direction and making a U turn to park on the other side of the road.

Unless U turns are illegal on that road, it is perfectly legal in my state. Your state may have different rules.

  3. as far as i know and understand, yes. ask a local cop to make sure.

  4. it is acually an offence you are actually supposed park to in the direction of the traffic flow so your rear red reflecive lenses face against the flow of traffic

  5. Yes...........just as long as it is clear they can do this.
