Parking away from a fire hydrant??

ok im writing my beginners test tomorrow and i want to know how far you have to park from a fire hydrant........btw i live in canada in cape breton if that makes ne difference......thank you very much

  1. In most places in the US it's 15 feet. I'd guess it's pretty close to that in Canada. Access by the fire department is the reason.


  2. Not a problem in UK.  Hydrants are on the pavement, sorry, 'sidewalk'.

  3. its usually about 5 meters in the UK, but over here they are on the pavement although some dumbass's still try to park on them also the fire service over here have the right to tow your car away from the hydrant if necessary lol

  4. In Canada we use metric system.  it's 3 metres from fire hydrant.
