I've driven to and in New York before; but I'm just looking for a good deal parking in either Manhattan or Brooklyn, in a secure garage thats open 24 hrs. Icon Parking has some cheap stuff in Manhattan, and guarantees you a spot, but I diddn't know if i could find a cheaper garage in Brooklyn, preferably on the subway line or near williamsburg.

I'm gettin tired of $28 metro north tickets from new haven, plus i'm going with 4 people, thats 112 on tickets alone, I can beat that even with gas the way it is with my car.

  1. One idea is to take I95 into the city and then the Hutchinson River Parkway south (I think it is exit fourteen)  Get off at Westchester Ave and turn left at the train and try to find on street parking there.  the train above is the #6 and will take you down the East Side on Lexington Ave.

  2. Check near the bklyn bridge..youll find a place, then take the train 1 or 2 stops to Manhattan

  3. There are many parking garage in Houston St( Manhattan), about $12 first hour,$30 or 3 hrs and $40 for 24 hrs. It is indoor secure garage and walking to many subway stations.

If you go on Sunday, you can get some free parking near Union sq.
