Parking in edinburgh city centre on a Sunday?

Any recommendations?- I'll be there all day and would like to park somewhere as cheaply as possible..

  1. there is a large parking structure just off Lothian Rd..you can try in there


  2. Park anywhere on a Sunday. Do not park on double yellow lines & you will be OK. Do NOT use Multi Storey Car parks as these are just a rip-off when you can park on the streets for free.

  3. Single yellows are free on a sunday, however parking centrally at the moment might be a problem due to the horrid roadworks in Edinburgh

  4. h**l, park on a designated parking bay on the street. These only need payment between 8am and 6.30pm monday to friday.

    There are loads of them too, just drive to your destination and there will be one close by.

  5. there are multi story car parks at st james centre,king stables rd,and greenside(beside omni centre)these are all central and probably your best bet
