  1. I'm not sure... but I think Canada is one of those countries that goes by the amount of income you make...

Which I think is a very fair policy...

  2. Canada does not issue tickets based on income.  In Toronto, there are set fines depending on the offence:

Park longer than 3 hours $15.00

Park more than 30cm from curb $15.00

    Park vehicle for sale $15.00

    Park obstruct driveway/lane way $30.00

Park 3 metres of fire hydrant  $30.00

Park 9 metres of intersecting highway $30.00

    Park on Boulevard $30.00

    Stop on/over sidewalk/footpath $60.00

    Stop roadside (parked/stopped) vehicle $60.00

Park left wheels to curb $15.00

    Stop within intersection  $60.00

Stop within 9 metres of crosswalk $60.00

    Stop on bridge  $60.00

    Stop on centre strip  $60.00

Most of the tickets are for parking without a permit, overtime at a meter.

  3. depends on what offence you are doing i parked my car on the street overnight and i got a $35 ticket but if you block the sidewalk i think its $50 and even more if you block the fire hidron
