Parking violation in New York?

Question

If I owe a money for a parking violation, how much time do I have until my licence is suspended? I'm from New Jersey but got the ticket in New York

Your license will be suspended for use in NY as soon as the date for paying the ticket passes (well they can do it that fast at least).  It will take a few weeks for the system to go state to state, you will get a lovely letter from the state of NJ when that happens.
