Bradford City head coach, Phil Parkinson, has heaped praise on his side’s impressive victory on penalties over Arsenal in the quarter-final of Capital One Cup at Coral Windows Stadium on Tuesday, December 11.
The Bantams started the game brightly at home, and managed to grab the lead in the 16th minute through Gary Thompson. The hosts continued to impress in the remaining action of the opening half, but failed to extend their lead further.

Parkinson admitted that everyone played to its potential, and staged an electrifying show in front of their home crowd.
“The lads were terrific tonight. The discipline was first class against such a talented team like Arsenal. The talk will be about the penalties but the overall performance was excellent tonight. The way the lads stuck at the task was a credit to them. The
stadium was full, the atmosphere was incredible and we want to put the club back on the map again. These fans deserve it, the city deserves it”, the former Hull City boss was quoted as saying to Sky News.
Bradford City have never managed to win the competition. However, following their win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, the club would be brimming with confidence to lift the trophy.
The Bantams will now lock horns against Aston Villa, who claimed a resounding 1-4 victory over Norwich City, in a two-legged semi-final.
Parkinson would be keen to guide his side all the way to the final that will be played at Wembley.
