Parks near the Louvre.?

Question

I am planning a trip to Northern France for a school project, and each specific detail needs to be planned. What are the must-sees, specifically in Lille, Versailles, and Paris? Or the close surroundign areas?

Right across the street!  You'll see the pyramid and look towards the Champs Elysee, there's the famous Tuilleries Garden!  Take a 30 minute stoll straight ahead going past the pretty fountains; constinue straight ahead and you will run directly  onto  the Champs Elysee.  Have fun!

Near the Louvre, don't miss the garden of Tuileries and also the Palais Royal garden which is a little hidden behind the Conseil d'Etat.

I've already been to Lille and I find it interesting, especially the old area but I don't know enough to tell you more.

Well, in Lille you can visit "Vieux-Lille", which simply translates into "Old Lille". As the name would imply, that's where the oldest buildings in the city are concentrated, and the architectural style is Flemish- similar to that of nearby Belgium. Versailles if chiefly known for the Château de Versailles (Versailles Palace). Paris- well, I'll simply give you a short list of some of the best-known sites: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra Garnier, the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur, Notre-Dame Cathedral, etc. As for parks near the Louvre, the first answer that springs to mind in my case is the Tuileries Garden. Not too far from Paris, day-trips are also possible to places like Fontainebleau and Chantilly, both of which are easily accessible by train.

I really like Palais Royal.  In the winter, you can see how the trees are manicured to be perfect little boxes.  It's odd, but really strikingly beautiful.  There are often sculptures in this garden as well.  

The Tuileries adjoin the Louvre.  It's a very wide open park, with benches scattered throughout, plus a large foutain at the far end.  You can often find birds in and around the fountain.  

Paris has many must-sees:  the louvre, the musee d'orsay, sacre coeur basilica, cathedral of notre dame, ste. chappelle, Luxembourg gardens, the Eiffel tower, the river Seine, and many more.
