Parkwest Leo dominant in the Text Dogs To 60006 Stayers
Relatively more successful than the rest at the open level lately in the Grade OR Text Dogs To 60006 Stayers, is the three-year-old fawn dog, Parkwest Leo. The 9 to 4 winning prospect for the race has drawn the last trap for the 575 metres flat race that
will be hosted by Romford on Wednesday, 12th December.
Competing with him tonight over the £500 prize money are, Salacres Vision, Darian Chief, Rebellious Mary, Millstreet Belle and Centurion Dolly. Breaking in the red of the first trap will be, Salacres Vision.
The fawn dog, Parkwest Leo, has been racing since the previous season and has competed at the open level several times before, winning it at multiple occasions.
His first open level success in during the 2012 campaign was in the Book Our Summer Sizzler In The Chase Restaurant on 22nd June, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres.
Taking flight in the striped vest of the last trap, Parkwest Leo broke into a high gear early on and secured ground on the wide end. Leading from the first position, the C. Gardiner trained landed the race in 36.37 seconds.
His neck’s lead had Aero Joker, the favourite entry, coming on terms with the second position.
The last two outings of Hondo Dingle’s son at the identical level saw him scoring the second position and then finishing third behind the winner.
The fawn dog qualified as the runner-up in the Coral Essex Vase – Heat 4 on 30th November, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres. The favourite entry defeated Parkwest Leo by 2 ¾ lengths. Even though the sixth trap was challenged when racing from the
first to the sixth position, he ended second after taking 35.56 seconds.
He then finished within the frame of the first three positions in the third semi-final of the Coral Essex Vase on 7th December, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres.
Challenged when racing from the first to the fifth position cost him the race despite setting in an early pace. The race was won by, Planning, the favourite entry, in 35.29 seconds.
Parkwest Leo has all the chances for bouncing back and winning the prize money.
