Parley hot favourite for E B F Captain J.C. Stewart Fillies´ Handicap
Parley is expected to dominate proceedings in the E B F Captain J.C. Stewart Fillies´ Handicap at Hamilton in England on Thursday, June 28, 2012. A cash prize of £7,763 will be given to the winner of the class-3 event.
Stamina will be an important factor in determining the winner of the 1 mile and 65 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 20: 20 GMT. Although seven runners will be seen in action today, no one seems to be in a position to challenge Parley for victory.
The three-year-old filly does not have a lot of experience, as she has only participated in five races. However, her performances in them have been pretty much decent, which will help her get the attention of the punters.
Trained by veteran, Mark Johnston, Parley made her debut in the sport last year and finished fourth that time around. This was the only time, when she dropped out of the top three, as she has always managed to challenge her rivals for victory after her opening
race.
Street Cry’s daughter out of Tout Charmant started off her 2012 season with a splendid show at Wolverhampton, winning the Sarah Brailey 21ST Birthday Maiden Fillies´ Stakes comfortably. This was her first ever victory and the bookies had seen
that coming, so they had rated her as the favourite to win.
Parley has taken part in a couple of more races afterwards, but she has been unable to repeat a winning show again. However, her performances in those events were not bad at all, as she managed to secure the third spot on both occasions.
Overall, the favourite runner has participated in five races, winning one of them whereas finished third on three times. She will be partnered by veteran jockey, Joe Fanning, who has won plenty of races and is a confident rider.
Although no one seems to be in a position to challenge Parley, there is a slight possibility that Hot Rod Mamma might shine at Hamilton today. She is a seasoned runner and has participated in 33 races. However, her winning percentage is not much impressive,
as she has only managed to win half a dozen events until now.
