Parliament Square all set to land the first victory of his career in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot
23 runners will run over a distance of five furlongs in the Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed Race) at Ascot on 19th June, 2012, where they will aim to take home the purse of £31,191, on a surface that has been labelled good to
soft .
In this line-up, it may be hard to determine who has all the winning elements. and who will emerge victorious, but Parliament Square and Smoothtalkinrascal seem to stand out the most.

Parliament Square, son of Acclamation, out of mare Bold Desire, might be able to demonstrate his true skill in the mega-event today.
The two-year-old colt has one start to his name, and that was at Naas in the Fishery Lane Race on 16th May, 2012, over a distance of six furlongs.

Despite his best efforts, he fell short of expectations and finished in fifth place out of six runners, under the guidance of jockey, J.P. O'Brien.
The bay colt is under the wing of Champion trainer, A.P. O’Brien, and has an opportunity to blossom on the track today.
Entering the race with odds of 10 to 1, the bay colt will break from post 21, and will be mounted by J.P. O’Brien again.
Competing against Parliament Square is the Brian Meehan trained, Smoothtalkinrascal, who has two excellent starts to back him up.
With a 7-1 shot, the son of Kodiac, out of mare Cool Tarifa, will break out of post 1 and will ride under jockey, Shane Kelly.
The young runner seems to be in an incredibly good shape, since he landed a victory in the second start of his career.

The runner defeated Ed McMahon trained, Forray, in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Stakes at Leicester on 21st May, 2012, which covered a distance of five furlongs.
Smoothtalkinrascal’s victory over five furlongs will help him today, since familiarity with the distance always works in favour of the runner.
The victory will be taken by A. P. O’Brien’s charge, Parliament Square, he is still young, but has all the winning elements.

He is likely to show progress on this track, and demonstrate all the effort that his trainer has put in him.
