Former Arsenal midfielder, Ray Parlour has gone on to suggest that perhaps the North London club should let Robin Van Persie leave for Manchester City, should they get Edin Dzeko as part of the deal.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 went on to reveal that he had no interest in extending his stay at the Emirates and this has caused many to believe that the forward is on his way out of the club. With this news coming into existence, Manchester City seemed to be the most
interested club in landing the forward’s signature, as they looked to add to their fire power.
However, City are having some striker problems of their own. Edin Dzeko doesn’t seem to be happy with the way the club is treating him and the forward has been linked with moves out of the club. However, City aren’t willing to let the player leave on the
cheap and are hence looking to find a buyer who would pay top dollar to land him.
Parlour thinks that the situation that both the clubs find themselves in is ideal for them to play a little swap. The former midfielder feels that if Van Persie is to leave for City, then Arsenal need to get Dzeko in at the Emirates, in order to try and
compensate for the Dutch striker’s loss.
“I don’t know what http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 will look at, but if [Van Persie] does want to go to Manchester City then maybe they could look at a swap deal with someone like Dzeko and bring him in”
However, Parlour feels that maybe the wages that City are paying the forward could prove to be a problem later on.
“His wages might be a problem,” he added.

“I don’t know what kind of wages Dzeko is on at Manchester City and Arsenal have always had that pay structure that they want to keep to and maybe they have to change that.”

“Times are moving on and if you want the best players they go for the best money.”
It is now going to be a wait to see just how the striker situation at both the clubs sorts itself out.
