Tommaso Ghirardi rues letting the Villarreal striker slip through his hands, and states he should have offered Manchester United more money to buy the attacker.
Parma President, Tommaso Ghirardi, repents his decision to let go of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giuseppe-Rossi-c15027, and believes a little more money would have convinced the English giants to sell them the player in 2007.

“I regret letting Rossi leave. Five years ago I should have offered United more money to convince them to sell to me.”

Ghirardi went on to speak about boss Roberto Donadoni’s future at Parma, and insisted that the executive wants to stay with the Crociati. He went on to state that the club values Donadoni, but it is inevitable that the chief will eventually part company
with Parma for a bigger club.
“I’ve had lunch with Donadoni and he’s told me that he wants to stay. We’ll keep a tight grip on him for now, but it is clear that a big club will arrive one day.”

“Giovinco? He could remain unless a really top club comes after him. We’ll meet with Juve soon. If they want to keep him then a simple chat will be enough. The problem will be if they want to sell him on…” He added.
