Question:

Parra problem is?

I think I have worked out Parra's problem - people have blamed Tim Smith and yeah sure he has or was not at his best. However if you watch their games most of the tries, most errors and the one player that comes out of the line to be a hero is Eric. I am a Parra fan all the way but every time there is a bomb, a kick or a tackle to be made on his wing you hold your breath and most of the time they score due to him being out of position or dropping the ball. I would love to hear other people's opinion on this, and not people that want to rubbish Parra just honest opinions on if you agree or what you see the problem to be.....

  1. their problem is that they have no "HEART"

  2. I reckon the problem is confidence. See how they played against the Cowboys? Lack of confidence. No one really stepped up. They played slightly better against an ordinary Sea Eagles outfit.

  3. To much stupid penalties and ball secruity.

  4. i think they should shift grothe to the centres, hayne at fullback and burt to the wing

  5. Eric groth basically gave them 3 tries. Cant beaive the usless pricks lost in the poistion they was in

  6. well your right eric has been the cause for some of the tries, he does come out of his line to quickly and unfortunatly the other teams have noticed that and have been targeting him a lot , although he is good in attack, i think he would be better in centre and put reddy on the wing.

dw: parra play there best footy during mid season

  7. one simple answer

they are a c**p team this year

  8. Too many Parra players in the team! lol, borrow some from another team.

  9. hagan should drop grothe jr .to jim beam cup.he is not the best winger at all and he didn't pocessed his father talent only the name.

  10. I reckon Hagan should shift Grothe to the centres so he doesn't need to catch or chase balls (Machael Robertson Try LOL) and then put Burt into the wing cause he can catch and play on the wing and put Hayne on fullback cause he's dangerous.

  11. in some ways eric is unreal!! when he gets the ball in his hands he rarely stuffs it up.he has that amazing palm that he just sends people flying with.

but on the other hand when he is defending he comes in too much from the wing. i think he needs to play his position right. stay out on the wing!!!!

  12. You ask for a sensible answer and look how many idiots decide to shine...

Grothe has some great games, and some forgettable ones, but i don't think you can single him out as the problem... there are a few players not doing the basics that get them in just as much trouble.

I do agree that he'd make a better centre, or maybe a move into the second row or lock could be beneficial for the team.

  13. Ahh Eric Grothe Jnr - well all i can say is brilliant one moment, terrible the next and then the next and then the next. Just glad i'm not a parra supporter, however i am a knights supporter and we are not much better. Lulia and Vuna had a bad case of droppsies last week.

  14. its mostly the little things catching the eels out like, drop balls, handing over possesion at the wrong end of the field, 1 thing they need serios work on is there sliding goal line defence, they let to many trys in from close range. The only positional changes i would make is maybe have hayne roving around the ruck in attack, in defence i think he is a strong center. i think parras best players so far this year are daniel wagon and the young center totai hes a great defender, id like to see him with more ball, and im also an eels fan, having said all that i still think the eels are serios premiership contenders

  15. Parra's real problem is well there parramatta eels they dress in blue and yellow and all teams except the roosters have better players than them.

    GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Parra has the same problem now that they did a few years back. They just aren't playing as a team. They are to concerned at how they play as an individual so when another team member gets a chance they take it themselves. For example a few rounds ago when Reddy had the ball he could have easily passed it to Grothe on the wing and they would have had 4 extra points on the board but Reddy took it himself and got tackled. I'm not saying its all Reddy's fault im just saying they need to wake up to themselves and start playing as a team and stop trying to play as individuals.

    NRL IS A TEAM SPORT!!!!

nd im a parra supporter aswell

  17. when they were in the lead they could not maintain the lead cause of stupid things players do on the field like stupid errors and bad defence.
