  1. I think it might be possible for some lifeforms. I think you are limited to your senses and imagination, though. You would need to know how to do that and safely, otherwise come up with the technology, maybe someday,...

  2. I think the only way to achieve this would be via wormholes. Wormholes remain purely theoretical at this period in time. Even if they did exist, we are not sure whether they could be used to send information or either be traversed. To facilitate this requires the creation of "exotic matter" that has "negative energy". Without this, any wormhole would likely collapse as soon as something tried to pass through it.

If you'd like to learn more about this, I strongly recommend the book "Parallel Worlds" by Michio Kaku.

  3. I think it might be possible, as cited by the book/movie "what the bleep do we know?"

Now, I do believe in dimensions, and I think that aliens don't come from another planet if not from another dimensions.

  4. There is absolutely no known or even theoretical way to access a parallel universe.

Part of the problem is no one even knows for sure such a thing exists.

Parallel universes pops out of the Many Universes interpretation of Quantum Mechanics (QM).  QM is a weird thing and despite being *the* most accurate theory in existence still has many qualities that bend the brain, are totally counter intuitive and sometimes downright unbelievable.

The Many Universes interpretation is one of those things that pops out of QM that scientists hate.  It is just staggering in its implications if it works that way and scientists figure the universe could not possibly function in such a fashion.  However, it cannot be discarded out of hand.  There is no way to test it so no one knows but on the face of it they cannot ignore it or debunk it so it remains.

  5. I doubt there is there such thing as a parallel universe - unfortunately I can't prove it.
