  1. Yes, parrots are included in exotic animals.

First of all, make sure he/she gets something to eat (seeds) and has access to fresh drinking water. Who knows how long he/she was missing and might be very hungry :(

Your best bet is probably to call SPCA but... not all of them take parrots.

If you really, really don't know what to do, call police. They will be able to help you.

Good luck and please make sure he is fed. He is probably very scared.

  2. give it to me!

  3. If you find an exotic animal in a non-exotic environment, It's probably separated from the owner.  Make sure to provide some basic care for it, as the above posters stated, and let an authority know that you found it.  Chances are that the owner will let an authority know that they lost it.

  4. yes some are but some arnt

  5. Yes but it is legal for us to own them. Go buy and cage toys and food and then keep the bird to love as your own if you dont find the other owners within 30 days.

  6. yeah all of them are exotic animals. u really ddnt say if you want to keep it or not.

see in local humane society if anybody lost a parrot.

i know i would die without mine.

o my god if any of mine ever got lost i would lose my head:)

i would first see the adds or put the add in the paper.

dont say how the bird looks cause other people might want to claim it as theirs:)

good luck wiyh your new friend :)

  7. first feed it and offer water. And yes they are exotic animals. Call pet stores to see if any person has reported one lost. Call vets also to see. Put up poster of it and your number. If it seems hurt take to vet and explain situation. If no one claims it and cannot find owner than maybe you have a new pet? Just make sure you get it checked out by avian vet. But most birds that get away are very missed. Good luck.

  8. Try to find his home, I'm sure his owners are broken hearted and would be very grateful.  Some newspapers will let you put in a Free ad for a pet you found.  In the meantime offer him fresh water, fruits, veggies, pasta, anything healthy you would eat.  NO AVOCADOS, CHOCOLATE OR DAIRY. Read up online for more basic care.  Parrots are 27/7 demanding pets and I wouldn't keep him on a whim, you have to be committed to own this type of bird.  Good Luck!

  9. Look for an add in the lost and found section of the newspaper.

OR bring him to the humane society

Well, what kind of parrot, Macaw?  Budgie?  Green cheeked conure?  Yes, all of them are parrots.
