Parrots - whats the difference..... ?

Whats the difference between Old world parrots and New world parrots ? I need a bit of help with my coursework.

its the location they are found in.

New world parrots are from South America and the surrounding areas. Old Worlds are found in New Guinea, Africa, and Australia and the likes.

Another major difference is there Karyotypics or there chromosomal makeups. They are very different between the Old and the New. Even there hatchlings are different.
