hi ppl.. i belong to ahmedabad and am returning back home after almost a decade plus & shall spend a cpl of days in bombay too....need feedback from foodies, if i could find some good Lebanese as well as Parsi food at both places. Ahmedabad and Bombay...am no a fussy guy as far as decor / ambience is concerned but the preparations should be authentic... shall appreciate a honest feedback on both types of food at both locations along with contact-location details, if available.

Thanks a ton, in advance

  1. Britannia is the best for Parsee food, and Paradise is not bad. You can also try some of the offerings from RTI (Ratan Tata Institute) which has branches all over Mumbai, there is one opposite Mondegar in Colaba. For Lebanese, I've not found many places, but Lebanes Point at Lokhandwala had a mean shawarma and felafel sandwich. Also Swati Snacks at Tardeo has felafel on the menu, but it is nothing near the original, but has an interesting twist. Btw Swati can satisfy your Gujrati tastebuds quite nicely though...

  2. In mumbai the best places to eat great parsee food are Paradise in Colaba causway opp Kailash Parbhat, Leopole is another one down the same road but this one is opp Khusroo Baugh but my pick for the best would be Britania Cafe in ballard estate next to the RBI

  3. There is a very good parsi resturant in colaba causway opp koshrow baag in mumbai, just cant remember the name.
