Part 1: Sevilla vs. Espanyol – Spanish La Liga Review
Sevilla were to face a tough task in the Spanish La Liga as they were to face the fifth-placed Espanyol. Espanyol managed to put pressure on the fourth-placed Valencia side as they won the game and are now level on points with them. It was Jose Callejon
who was the star of the show for Espanyol and got them the victory that they were craving for.
Jose Callejon scored a brace against Sevilla to mark a win for Espanyol. Sevilla were to entertain the Barcelona side in their home ground Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and the visitors efficiently won the game to take the well-deserved victory from the 10th-placed
Spanish La Liga side.
With the game kicking off, the difference between the two sides on the points table was of five points only. which also explains the level of competition in the Primera Division. A lot of teams are fighting for the European spot and Valencia are now under pressure as Espanyol have managed to come on level terms with them on the points table. On the other hand, in
case Sevilla won the game, they could easily move up to the top six but it simply did not happen for them even at their home ground.
The home team started the game positively and they had plenty of chances flying around for the first forty minutes of the game. It was as if Espanyol might just not win it to take all three points. The Andalusians had a chance to score during the 12th minute
as Romaric crossed the ball into the danger zone and Luis Fabiano headed it towards the goal. However, the Espnayol goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-Kameni-c8464 tipped the headed effort and saved the day for the visitors. The deflected shot found Fabiano again but the Brazilian
simply could not put enough on it to find the back of the net.
Sevilla kept on dominating the game play not only up front but also in the midfield. Romaric and Didier Zakora were pulling off heroics in the centre of the pitch as they showed how they understood the midfield of the game and totally dominated possession.

into the net. However, his shot had too much power on it and his effort flew above the cross bar after hitting the ground, which gave Espanyol some room to breathe.
Even though Sevilla were the ones dominating possession, Espanyol were the ones who found their spirits enlightened as the visiting crowd started chanting the names of their past legends Daniel Jarque and Antonio Puerta. With only five minutes remaining
in the game, Espanyol had a wonderful spell of passing. The ball then found its way towards Javi Marquez on the left flank who teased the ball past the Sevilla defence to find Jose Callejon.
