Spanish La Liga Preview - Sunday (Part 1)
There were only two games played on Saturday as the Spanish La Liga kicked off on this weekend – therefore it is obvious reason why the fans would want to watch the league on Sunday. There is a lot of action in the Spanish league where Jose Mourinho’s Real
Madrid is going to be a part of a derby match against Atletico Madrid as Mourinho faces his first ever Madrid derby this season. Later, the very same day, Getafe are going to entertain Barcelona at their home ground.
On Saturday, Real Sociedad took on Racing Santander in a confident mood as they secured all the six points from the last two home league games by not conceding a single goal. They managed to keep their record when the game finished as they won the game 1-0
and didn’t concede a goal at their home ground and also won the three points that they were craving for. Racing showed poor performance and now Racing have lost three games in a row in which they have conceded nine goals.
Espanyol also won the game against Malaga at their home ground and the Barcelona club temporarily moved into the top four as Villareal, Valencia and Sevilla are still to play on Sunday as they are all contenders to be in the top four. The former Real Madrid
boss Pallegrini could not really help the team win away from home as Malaga were defeated 1-0 by Espanyol. Now Malaga are in the bottom three and they are definitely in the race of relegation.
Talking of Pellegrini, his former club; Villareal are going to need to overcome the disappointment that they faced during the midweek as they were defeated by the Greek club in the Europa League. Villareal, however, still have a 100% home league record at
the moment and they are definitely not going to let it slip away as they are going to entertain Atletic Bilbao in their home ground.

Talking about the Spanish city Madrid, both the Madrid sides are going to be in action as Jose Mourinho is going to ready his men to face one of the toughest opponents for them till now, Atletico Madrid. The derby game is going to be exciting as both of them
are going to collide. Atletico Madrid have been in a mixed form till now as they have bagged themselves a few wins, a few draws and a few losses.
The Spanish side has won three games and plenty of goals in the Europa League and the Kings Cup; however, they have only managed to gain four points out of the four league games that they have been a part of. Atletico Madrid are going to be facing Real Madrid
at Santiago Bernabeu and it is definitely going to be a test for both the sides.
