Part 1: The Best Young Players in the Premier League
The English Premier League is one of the toughest and most competitive Leagues in the World. It is also however one of the best breeding grounds for talents of the future.
Over the past youngsters have excelled in the Premier League and have had breakthrough careers with the teams that they have played for. Some of the players who first emerged in the Premier League as youngsters include Steven Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas, Ryan
Giggs and Paul Scholes to name a few. These players have gone on from being relative unknowns to being household names.
This season is however no exception to these younger talents, the league is filled with players who are looking to finally make their mark in the biggest league in the world.
Here is a look at some of the players who would be looking to have a breakout season in the Premier League.
Javier Hernandez: Javier Hernandez, is one of Manchester United’s latest signings. The player is more commonly known by his nickname, Chicharito. When Alex Ferguson signed the player he was a relatively unknown player. Hardly anyone had
herd of him. However the player went into the World Cup as a Manchester United player. This lead to almost the entire world, setting their sights on the player and trying to figure out just what made Ferguson buy the player.
Hernandez was well aware of the mounting pressure that was riding on his shoulders as he went into the tournament and instead of crumbling under the pressure, he went on to win the acclaims of almost everyone watching. He went on to score two goals in the
World Cup, however neither one of those goals was against a weaker team. He scored his goals against France and Argentina.
Once the World Cup was over, everyone was now looking to see just what the player would do next as he took to the fields with Manchester United in their pre season tour. Hernandez was the only player on the United team to go on and score in every single
pre season game that the team played. However the players biggest honours came when he scored the decisive goal against Chelsea in the Community Shield match and helped United go on to lift their first silverware of the season.
Hernandez can prove to be the missing link that United have needed for quite some time. He is quick has great technique and has a keen eye for goal. He is defiantly a signing that will prove to be crucial to the team on the long run.
Hernandez can however be played as either a target man up front, or be asked to partner Rooney or Dimitar Berbatov, up front. He has the abilities to compliment almost any one that he plays with.
The player was expected to have much more game time then what he has gotten so far, however due to Berbatov’s tremendous form the player has been spending a lot of time on the bench. He will however without a doubt be introduced for major portions in the
future and will be looking to make a mark on the side.
