Part 2: Schalke 04 vs. Hamburg – German Bundesliga Review
It did not take Hamburg long to score the first goal of the game. It was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Schmitz-c22900 simply had no chance against the Ivorian who easily turned him inside out and
found the space to curl the ball in towards his Dutch team mate Ruud Van Nisterlrooy. With the former Manchester United poacher standing alone at the far post, there was simply no way he could miss it. However, the ball deflected off his hand, then his face
and then found the back of the net. The home team tried to make it a “disallowed goal” as they screamed at the linesman and the referee but the goal stood for the visitors as they took the lead during the 13th minute of the second half.
With Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s goal falling positively for Hamburg, Shcalke’s team were totally shaken. They had to find the back of the net in order to get at least a single point from the game. The home team tried to attack for the rest of the game in order
to find the back of the net so they could secure at least a point. However, Hamburg started to play carefully and tried to remain strong at the back. The hosts saw nothing positive coming towards them and their coach Felix Magath decided to bring on Jose Jurado

The home team kept on trying their luck on goal but nothing was produced for them. It was not until the 88th minute of the game when Schalke finally had their first real chance on the Hamburg goal. It was the midfielder Lukas Shimtz who found
the ball in his path inside the 18 yard box and had the opportunity to find the back of the net. However, his effort only managed to brush off the right hand post of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Rost-c14103 who was barely troubled by the attempt.
Later, Schalke’s 17-year-old prodigy Julian Draxler made his way on to the pitch as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christoph-Moritz-c9169 was sacrificed. However, the debutant could not do much to change the cause of the game during the 7 minutes he was provided with. Schalke barely troubled
Hamburg’s well-organized defensive walls and the game ended with the visitors taking all three points.
With Schalke losing the game, they remain at the 10th position of the German Bundesliga while Hamburg climb to the 7th place in the points table as they took all three points. The bad news for Hamburg is the news that is flying around
all of Europe at the moment as the only goal scorer of the game was in the wanted list of Real Madrid. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ruud-van-Nistelrooy-c31966 is being demanded by the Spanish Giants, the Los Blancos and he might make a move back to his former Spanish club.
