Part 2: The Biggest Surprises in the Premier League Season So Far
Moussa Dembele
A player who has emerged from the ashes to take over the footballing world like a phoenix is Moussa Dembele. The player cost Fulham five million pounds and being a relatively unknown it seemed to be a hefty price to pay for him. However after watching the
player perform last week it seems as though the manager might have actually made a bargain worth the dime. Dembele was brought on to replace Bobby Zamora who had broken his leg during the game. It was expected that Dembele would be a standard fill in player,
however he went on to make an immediate impact.
Chris Hughton
The fact that Chris Hughton was still in charge of Newcastle last season seemed to be due to an administrative error. The club was in utter chaos and was close to being sold. Hughton was then only the caretaker at the club. However the caretaker has emerged
to be as one of the best managers that the team has had to date. He helped get the team promoted and has so far been more than just decent for the team. If he continues to keep this form up then he could just prove to be the greatest fluke manager of all time.
Dimitar Berbatov
Wayne Rooney's mid life crisis has been made a whole lot easier to be dealt with Manchester United, mostly thanks to Dimitar Berbatov. Berbatov has proven his worth so far this season and has finally started to emerge to be the thirty million pound player
that he was expected to be over the past couple of seasons. He has also proven that United can adapt to a very different formation since he is more than capable of leading the line up front on his own. He is still a little tardy in his actions; however his
effectiveness is something that cannot be denied any more. This might finally be the season where Berbatov manages to achieve the same level of success that he had at Tottenham.
Theo Walcott
For as long as anyone can remember Theo Walcott has been reputed to be amongst the players, who were the future hope for England, however just like everyone else Walcott has failed to live up to those expectations. That had been the case for the last couple
of years with the player, but it seems like all of that is scheduled to change. Walcott finally looks like a complete player, he has tremendously improved his ball control, crossing ability and passing rate all of that coupled with his blistering pace can
only mean that Walcott is now one of the deadliest players in the Gunners, Arsenal. The player did however manage to get injured in an international fixture and has been ruled out for another five weeks. If he can manage to continue at the same rate with which
he left off, then he would manage to successfully turn all his critics to admirers.
