Ibrahim Afellay was then asked about the way he has matured himself up during the time he has spent in the Dutch club. He was asked whether he feels mature enough at the age of 24.
He answered the question with a simple yes but later added on that even though he is only 24 years old, he has still played a lot of games and learned a lot from them.
He said that he has played for European Championship and he was also present in the Dutch squad during the last FIFA World Cup and that is enough experience to make him feel mature at this young age.
The Dutch star has been following Barcelona for quite a long time. He accepted that he was a fan of the Spanish club when he was young and always dreamt of playing in the La Blaugrana.
When he was asked whether he has been following the Catalan Giants this season he answered that he has been following them for a long time.

He added on to his conversation by stating that when the first contact was made by the Spanish side, he was very keen and interested so he was all ears about it. He also talked about the clash between the two Spanish League titans, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
When asked what he thought about the game he said that Barcelona totally showed that they are the best club in the world. He totally showed desire to be in the club and said, “I thought ‘I want to be there – that’s how I want to play’”.
He said that it was the best game that he has seen so far this season. However, he said that the 2-6 demolition of the Los Blancos was also a great game.
He said that Barcelona play football from another planet and they totally showed that they do during these two games that they played against their rivals Real Madrid.
He was then asked about his adaptation in the Barcelona team; how he thought he will adapt to the La Blaugrana.
He said that he knows that fact that Barcelona is a club that competes at the highest level and he will have to work hard.
He said that he will move up and try to do everything that he is expected to do to win his place in the Barcelona team.
