It's been about 5 days since I had 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. They used the dissolvable type of stitches to sew the wounds up. I was eating ice cream and afterwards, part of the stitch (the part where it had been knotted, outside my gum) came out of my mouth. It didn't catch on anything I don't think, and I didn't pull it. It just kind of came out. That side of my mouth is a little more sore than usual now, but it's not bleeding or anything. Is this normal or something I should be worried about?

  1. YES,. THIS ONLY LASTS A FEW DAYS

  2. Yes. That's why they desolve.

  3. Nah..  Nothing to worry about..  The initial healing period is done..  People bust those stitches all the time coughing or laughing, or doing what you did... simply eating ice cream.  Not a big deal at all...  Just try not to mess with it for a few days.
