A part, held in place by a torsion spring, broke on my Hoover Windtunnel. I've spent my life fixing things, over and over again, rather than discard, or have someone else do it. However, I'm having trouble finding this part. Apparently, this part also has something to do with diverting suction to the hand tools, when the vacuum is in the upright position. When it broke, the suction ceased when attempting to use the hand tools. The only other information I can offer is that there's a very discrete number printed on the side of the plastic, within the mold, that reads 38719-066. Can anyone tell me whare I might order this part and fix my, otherwise, good Hoover Vacuum? Thanks,
