Part time job Dubai?

I'm from italy and I'm going to study in dubai from this october. I'm 19 and I just have high school diploma and i need to find a part time job. How can i find there a job and in which field? And how much can i ear?

Well, it will not be easy to land a part time job in Dubai.

1. you have to obtain your sponsor's (college/university) permission to work. Dubai authorities are getting strict on people working for somebody else who is not under their sponsorship.

2. Part time jobs which students work in Europe (like in discos, bars, restaurants as servants) are taking by people of certain nationalities working full time under sponsorship.

Many universities/colleges offer jobs to their students. Did you check out this possibility already?

Get in touch with the Embassy of Italy and ask what Italian businesses are in Dubai. Then you can ask there for a job. You also could offer your service like babysitting etc. at the blackboards of shops like Abela's and Spinney's where many Europeans go shopping.

I do not know how much money you could earn, but what ever you'll make will not be comparable with what you would make in Italy.

Please be aware that labor in the UAE is cheap. It's done by Indians, Pakistanis, Philippians etc. (no offense please). Every eventually employer would rather hire one of these Nationalities than an European, knowing that they would be satisfied with a lower salary.

The salary largely depends on your negotiation skills, but bear in mind that a construction worker makes hardly 500 USD per month, while the bottom management jobs rarely fetch more than 1000 USD per month. This is due to the jigh influx of ridiculously cheap labor from India and Pakistan.
