How do you participate in the olympics? I know that it takes more than just a will to do it and i know that it takes years and years of practice. I also know that I can't just apply for the olympics, and that I need to be noticed by doing well in sporting events. So here is my question, after I practice and get noticed by people, how do I get into the olympics? Do I have to be invited to go to the Olympic trials? I need details on how i have a fighting chance to get to the olympics.

  1. you have to enter beginner or junior events and as bad as this sounds, win it will take along time but if you win at events you will get noticed

  2. well you have to start competing, then work your way up to national and international competitions and then once you're good enough, you are invited to the olympic trials.

  3. Join a sporting club in your preferred sport.

They will be able to put you into competitions in order for you to get noticed and help you to progress to olympic level

  4. lol I know this doesn't make sense, but  I love your picture!! Iron Man rules!!

  5. First you have to qualify for the olympics trials of your sport for some prerequisite performance or mark.

Then at these trials you must make a olympic qualifying mark if you had not already.

Then you must come top 3 in your country to make the olympic team.

  6. Since you need to be 13 to post on Yahoo, you're already too old to start for swimming, gymnastics, ice skating.   You'd be starting as young as 3 (or about 5) for those - and devoting most of your day to practice.  You'd be homeschooled, to be able to devote all the time possible to practice, practice, practice with a very reputable coach....

  7. idk but when u find out PLEASE PLEASE email me the answer cuz i would like to at least get to the trials for the london olympics.

what event do u wanna go there for?

i would like to go for running. (long distance)

i am so close to running at olympic time! ik if i keep training i will be there in 4 yrs. but i have the same questions as you do.
