Particle accelerator whens the test

The new particle accelerator is done being constructed im pretty sure. When will the first tests take place? How can i stay up to date with them?

The only information I have seen is that particle collisions should begin at the Large Hadron Collider in August or September, according to the US/LHC Web site.

Apparently the LHC at CERN has now been pumped down and 'cooled'. Last month (July) it was predicted that the first particle beams will be injected later this month (August). Furthermore, the time-table for its initial start up keeps on moving further and further back.
