I know what they all are, but where are they on a mountain?

Peak

Crest

Base

Mountain

Slope

Face

can I have a description of them? And please tell me what site you got it from.

  1. i can only find 4 of them.


  2. The peak is the highest point on a mountain.

    The crest is the top of the mountain chain(ridge)

    The base is the bottom of the mountain

    The mountain is just that

    The slope is the angle from base to peak

    The face is the front of the mountain ( El Capitan in yosemite, for example- the face is visible from the valley )
