Party! HELP!?

Hey! I'm having a pirate themed party for my birthday. Just a thought, do you think it would be better to do the room like a beach or with just skull and crossbones?

You should make it a pirate ship theme, actually the "main area" that the party is being held. Make the bathroom or another room, like the kitchen with crossbones and skulls, make sure the room is dark and eerie though, LOL Make them think twice about walking in!

You should do several themes, so that the people there can have a different effect on each room. One for a pirate ship, one for a cross and skulls and one a beach.

If you have the time, or have help....set up a scavenger hunt in the house or in the yard, or even both. Give them treasure maps or clues to find each treasure and each clue to get to the next level. Put people into groups even if there are alot of guests.

You could do both. One part of the room could be the beach and the other part could be skulls and crossbones. Depends obviously on size and shape of room. Also, budget may be a factor. Good luck and have a great time!

Skull and crossbones are not strictly speaking a pirate theme.  Long association has made it so but it really is an old image for DEATH

I think go for the beach idea! I mean, it probebly wont happen again so go for it (by saying "it probebly wont happen again I mean the party theme not that you'll never have a party again :S)
