The main thing you need to worry about after having teeth pulled is dislodging the blood clots in the sockets of where the teeth were extracted.

Dry Socket pain is far worse than having the teeth pulled in the first place.

Most doctors tell you not to brush or rinse the first 24 hours. I have actually waited 48 hours before rinsing just to be safe.

You can eat and you can drink and smoke if you prefer. Just keep those blood clots where they belong.
