Party at a Lake?

Question

The party is on May 31st. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do for a Birtday party at a lake? Im not old enough to drink, so no alcohol, I need activities, stuff like that to do at a lake. Also, food ideas? I just need really fun ideas, so nobody will be bored or feel left out. =]

Beach volleyball is always lots of fun ..... Frisbee contests ... Hula Hoop contests ... Of course, a BBQ seems perfect, if you have a grill there.  Otherwise, get a 6-ft. submarine sandwich, veggie/dip and fruit platters .... Do-it-Yourself Sundaes and cake

how about a campfire with roasted marshmallows, and telling all kinds of stories.  Also boating. For food keep it simple like hot dogs macaroni salad fresh fruit, and cupcakes or brownies.  Hope this helps.  Have a great time

if you are going swimming, the i would put "treasure" in the lake and have your guest find it.  then with certain finds, they get a gift.  hide and go seek is always fun, kick the can.  depends on the age of your guest.  you could make an obstacle course.  winner gets a prize.  the food, i would go with simple.  hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips, potato salad, jellos, finger foods.  there are so many ideas.  just depends on the ages.  bomb fires are always a good thing.  tennis, volleyball.  i could go on forever  have fun
