Party costume ideas?

So my friend is having a costume party where we are supposed to dress like something nerdy... not a nerd, but something nerdy... other people are dressing like parts of cells, biological cycles, sub-atomic particles, etc... I want to stand out and have a really cute costume... I am interested in all ideas, especially those relating to biology.

volcano - get a very full brown/reddish shirt, or black. then get a tighter top, same color as bottom. if you have long hair, use hair coloring spray and spray your hair red ( lava) or get a very long blond wig and spray it red then put it on. ta da, ur a volcano
