Party food catering/caterers cost please? for 150 people?

we are holding a party for my grandparents golden wedding anniversery ..... i am just wondering how much it will cost for party style buffet food for 150 adults? on average.

and also if nybody knows any good caterers for this kinda of stuff in south wales?

depending on what u want you can expect to pay 10 pounds upwards, and that would prob be a finger buffet type thing, usuall its best tyo cater for 75% of guests

cheapest is about £5 a head but we found 1 a small company who did it for£1.50 a head this consisted of sandwiches of all sorts of fillings cut up french bread with pate on them or cream cheese,sausage rolls,chicken nuggets,quiche lorraine,sausages on stcks.most things you would find in a buffet i guess.so shop around.i hope you have a great time.could you do the catering yourself with a hand from the rest of the family?its a darn sight cheaper

Don't know any caterers in South Wales, but in US dollars about $15-20 per person, that would include food and dessert.  Extra for cocktails.  Most good caterers will have a variety of menu options to choose from.  Afternoon meals are less expensive then dinner events.
